Rapper Kanye West is considering buying a home in London after falling in love with the city while on tour.
The 30-year old star currently lives in New York, though is reported to be keen to relocate as soon as possible, attracted largely by the capital's thriving music scene.
A source close to the star told thelondonpaper: "Kanye has been talking about getting a place here for a while and asked friends for a bit of advice when he was in the country for the Concert for Diana."
West confirmed the rumors, telling the same paper recently: "I feel at home in London the music scene here is so different from in the States."
The average cost of a house within Greater London rose by 15.2 per cent over the last 12 months, with the capital driving the property market in the south and proving a major factor behind rising prices all over the UK, according to the latest set of figures published by the Financial Times.
Furtehromore, prices within the City of London itself grew by 38.1 per cent due largely to a lack of residential property in the area and the high bonuses being paid to City workers there.
