Branches of estate agency Savills have won a gold award for a hospitality tent they organised at an agricultural show in Gloucestershire.
The Banbury, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon branches of the firm were given the award by judges at the Moreton-in-Marsh Agricultural Show after their tent helped keep crowds entertained despite the lack of livestock at the show, due to recent restrictions on the movement of animals.
Belinda Young, a surveyor at the firm said: "There''s always a lot of hard work involved in planning and organising our stand at the Moreton Show and we always try to do something different and better each year."
As well as drawing members of the public in to see spectacles such as human statues, the firm also used the show as an opportunity to broaden awareness of its services, displaying details of properties currently on sale and informing people of development opportunities in the area.
Many estate agents sponsor events or charities working in their local communities, improving both corporate social responsibility credentials and increasing awareness of their brand.
