People looking to buy a property in Woking have been invited to take part in what has been billed as "worlds cheapest property auction".
Auction firm Humraz said that it is auctioning off a two-bedroom, first floor apartment in a private housing development in the town, which comes with access to communal parking area and gardens.
The successful bidder will pay no more than £9,000 5 per cent of the property''s £180,000 value for the flat, with each bid placed online or by SMS costing £3.
The winner of the auction will be the person who has placed the lowest unique bid by 3pm on November 30th this year.
When the flat is sold, Humraz said it will donate 2.5 per cent of the value of the property to WarChild, a charity which works with children in war zones and areas where conflict has recently taken place.
The internet is increasingly becoming the venue to snap up a bargain property without having to go through an estate agent, with some sellers offering their properties on online auction site eBay.
