Heather Mills has been spotted viewing a lavish mansion just yards away from the home she shared with her estranged husband, former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney.

The former model, who split with McCartney last year, was shown around a £16 million Regency-style, mansion in London, with reports indicating that it was the second time she toured the property.

According to the Daily Mail, the detached house has extensive security measures, including electronic gates and CCTV cameras, as well as basement which could be converted into a gym.

Mills'' daughter with McCartney, Beatrice, who is four later this month, would have plenty of space to play as the property boasts one fifth of an acre of lawns and would be conveniently located to visit her father.

However, Mills'' spokesperson, Phil Hall, denied that she was in the market for a home next-door to her ex-husband.

"She was there on behalf of a third party but it is private and she is not prepared to discuss it," he told the newspaper.
