Video property tours ''enticing''

Creating a video tour of a property could be a useful way to persuade buyers to view a home, it has been suggested.
Hamish Beeston, a former documentary filmmaker and the co-founder of Propertyclip, which creates videos for owners trying to sell their homes, told the Daily Telegraph that "a well-produced video makes an average house look good and a good house amazing".
"You are enticing people to have a look at the house by pointing out certain features like an amazing driveway, family-friendly kitchen or opulent master bedroom," he added.
With the rise of the internet, offering video of a property is becoming increasingly attractive for estate agents.
In the US, the trend towards utilising technology to maximise sales is already well-established, with Maryland agent Brendan Cooke telling the Baltimore Sun newspaper that he had filmed videos of properties he had on the market and uploaded them to video sharing site YouTube.
"Marketing these days seems to be, ''Throw everything against the wall and see what sticks'', " the publication quoted him as saying.
