A Cornish estate agency has branched out into the world of miniature properties and is advertising a detached Victorian dolls house in her office window, it has been reported.

R House in Torpoint has put the townhouse, which comes complete with real wood floorboards and decorative hanging baskets, on the market for £1,500, according to the Daily Mail.

Manager Charlie Elworthy, said that some prospective buyers did not realise that that the house is only able to accommodate dolls and had made enquiries about purchasing it for themselves to live in but told the newspaper than many people had been amused by seeing it in the window.

"We get a lot of gatherings outside the window of people looking at it and having a little laugh," she explained.

When sold, the property is expected to net R House an £100 commission, with Mr Elworthy commenting: "We are expecting a collector to buy it or a person who wants their children to have it as an investment."

The firm is not the first to offer unusual properties, with UK company Moon Estates offering buyers the chance to snap up properties on the Moon, Venus and Mars.ADNFCR-1143-ID-18361954-ADNFCR
