Kylie Minogue has revealed that she is looking for a home in the English countryside to help her relax away from the fast-paced world of showbiz.
The pop star, who is currently at number four in the charts with her single 2 Hearts, told BBC Radio 2: "At the moment, I am looking at a house in England that I can escape to. It''s looking pretty likely."
In an earlier interview published in the Times''s Style magazine, she talked of her love of rural pursuits and said that while she loves her job, she feels she needs time away from it sometimes.
"I do have this need to reclaim myself a little bit, to do things to make me feel whole, which is why I''m doing all these things such as horseback riding and taking walks in the country and looking for a place outside London to chill," she explained.
She already lives in London but also spends a lot of time in her native Australia, telling the radio station: "Christmas in Australia is beautiful... I always start thinking about it when the nights in England start getting colder."
