The National Association of Estate Agents and the Association of Residential Letting Agents are considering launching a direct to consumer internet television channel as part of its Property Professionals TV (PPTV) scheme.

Currently, the service mainly serves people working in the property sector but Peter Bolton King, the association''s chief executive, said that the service has potential to expand to offer information about the industry to consumers.

"As an association, we have been using PPTV for some months now as a means of updating our members with key information, property news, advice and training.

"[We] are now actively investigating trialling a new channel specifically for consumers, which can be delivered from selected members own websites," he explained.

Currently, the channel is featuring a video guide to taking better photos of properties and tips on how to add land sales to the range of services agents are offering.

Mr Bolton King also commented that PPTV had helped the organisation become more environmentally-friendly, resulting in a decrease in the amount of travel and printing that has to be done to keep members up to date.ADNFCR-1143-ID-18392067-ADNFCR
