Savills has been named the property firm that is most attractive to students and graduates, it has been reported.

According to trade publication Estates Review, a targetjobs.co.uk poll of 1,000 young people keen on working in the property industry found that more of them wanted to work for the firm than any other organisation in the sector.

The poll also revealed that on-the-job training was an alluring prospect for many young job hunters, with both Savills and Knight Frank scoring highly for the quality of their career development training programmes.

Paul Sissons, the chief executive of the website, told Estates Review: "Today''s students clearly want to receive the best possible training in their first job, as this will stand them in good stead for their future career."

"The message is clear; the better training a firm provides, the more likely it is to receive applications from top graduates."

Savills offers in-house training and also provides funding for employees who need to go to undergo external training.

Knight Frank also offers its staff a range of development opportunities, such as executive coaching and workshops on topics such as time management.ADNFCR-1143-ID-18427825-ADNFCR
