Savills has announced that designer Philip Nixon is to be responsible for creating its garden at the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show in May.

Mr Nixon has worked with the firm twice before to create a display for the famous show, which every year attracts thousands of gardening enthusiasts in search of inspiration.

He scooped two gold medals and an a silver-gilt award at Chelsea the last three times he exhibited there and in 2007 won a British Association of Landscape Industries award for best domestic garden.

Ian Stewart, director of marketing at the estate agency chain, said: "I am delighted that Philip has taken on the challenge of another Savills Garden at Chelsea and am confident that his design for 2008 will reflect the values of the Savills brand."

The event gives firms that sponsor a garden the opportunity to expose their brand to thousands of visitors and also helps generate good feeling towards the business.

Flower fans will be able to get their first look at the gardens on May 20th, with the event coming to a close on May 24th.ADNFCR-1143-ID-18431626-ADNFCR
