Estate agents are to distribute a new guide for house hunters produced by Stansted Airport in a bid to help buyers understand the impact the hub will have on them if they move to the area.

The publication explains issues such as aircraft noise, the flight paths of aircraft approaching Stansted and plans for its future development and will be distributed by 450 estate agents, building societies, banks and other organisations located within 30 miles of the airport.

Vicki Hughes, noise communications manager for Stansted, said: "Our property pack provides some really useful information that will help inform people about our plans for growth and development as well as our current operations."

Richard Hair, the chairman of the Essex branch of the National Association of Estate Agents, told Air Transport News that the organisation believes that the pack "can help make an extremely difficult decision much easier".

"We welcome Stansted''s property pack as a valuable tool in the armoury of information available to our home buyers and to our members."

The airport estimates that by 2030, around 68 million passengers will travel through Stansted each year.ADNFCR-1143-ID-18463028-ADNFCR
