An estate agent in Conwy, Wales, discovered a drugs den while showing a prospective tenant around a property.
The unnamed female agent took a client to the house but was unaware that the owner had already let the property out, reports the BBC.
Upon arrival, she took the prospective tenants upstairs, only to find a large number of cannabis plants and special lights hanging from the ceiling.
The police were called and found that the 3,735 grams of cannabis had a street value of £7,100.
As a result of the estate agent''s actions, Vietnamese national Dung Van Tran was arrested and admitted cultivating the plants.
He was sentenced to two years in prison, although his guilty plea was taken into consideration.
"If they had flowered, their heads would have produced cannabis with a street value in excess of £7,000 from the first crop," said the judge.
"If you had not been apprehended, there would have been crop after crop," he added.
