David and Victoria Beckham may only have only just made the trip over the Atlantic to the United States last year, but the couple are now alleged to be looking for a new home in Britain.

Posh and Becks currently reside in a $22 million (£11 million) mansion in Los Angeles with their three sons Brooklyn, nine, Romeo, five and Cruz, three.

However, the Beckhams now want to expand their property empire with a new home in London, tipped to be their most luxurious yet.

Staff at LA children''s boutique Petit Tresor revealed that an assistant for the couple had called them up to ask about "Hollywood Regency" designs for three rooms for their boys, likely for a new house in the capital.

Nina Takesh, head of Petit Tresor, said: "She didn’t give any more details. Everything’s very hush-hush. But, as well as the three bedrooms, they want a design for a playroom."

David''s contract with current club LA Galaxy is set to expire in 2012, and it is already being rumoured that Victoria wants a move back to London after that.
