About Costa Vasca

Costa Vasca is the coast of the Basque Country. It is rocky with roads along the cliff tops until Bilbao. Villages like Zarautz and Lekeito on the Bay of Biscay have magnificent beaches and there are interesting little ports along the coast.

The major towns of San Sebastian and Biarritz span the Spanish/French border.
This small region, together with the modern and dense network of highways and railways gives you the opportunity to get to know and admire the folklore, festivities and sports of the Basque Country all through the year e.g. 'pelota', trunk cutting, stone lifting, trawler races, stone dragging etc.
