Lack of mobile reception ''could be deal breaker''

Brits are so attached to their mobile phones, more than a quarter would reject a property if it did not offer good reception for their mobile phone, a new poll has revealed.
BT found that people are not willing to put up with only being able to make mobile calls in certain rooms of their home and are looking for properties that are well positioned to pick up mobile signals, with those searching for a home in London the pickiest about getting proper reception.
Sudesh Jog, of BT Fusion, said: "With so many mobile calls being made from the comfort of our own homes, it isn''t surprising good reception is such an issue for home buyers."
The poll found that eight per cent of people live in properties offering poor mobile reception, potentially causing a problem for sellers who live in such an area.
Earlier this month, research from Yorkshire Bank claimed that people are willing to compromise on some issues, such as location, if they felt that it could be financially worthwhile.
