About Costa Tropical

Costa Tropical (Tropical Coast) is only 45 minutes from downtown Granada. The Costa Tropical becomes an ideal enclave to live or spend your holidays. Apart from Granada it is easy to get to important places like Almería, Jaén and Málaga, visit all the villages of the coast, the Alpujarras or the Natural Park of Sierra Nevada.

Almost 100 Km of coast with big beaches and hidden creeks, cultivated plains and sheer mountains dominated by the cold temperatures of the high mountains of Sierra Nevada and warmed up the northern Africa winds. This exceptional corridor owes its name to a subtropical microclimate of mild winter temperatures.

The main coastal towns are Almunecar, Motril and Salobrena and there are the inland villages in the mountains of Los Guajares, Gualchos, Fondon, Faraguit and Aloto.
