Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins is interested in purchasing a country house in Monmouthshire, it has been reported.
According to the South Wales Argus, the star is considering buying a £5 million mansion which overlooks the pretty Shirenewton conservation area and the spectacular surrounding countryside.
As well as a master suite and three guest suites, the main house offers eight other bedrooms and six reception rooms.
There is more room for guests in the other buildings on the 29.5 acre estate, which include a three bedroom lodge, two bedroom cottage and two bedroom coach house.
In an unusual feature, the property also boasts a Japanese garden and grade II listed tea house on the grounds.
Katherine has had a busy few months, performing her hit show Viva La Diva to thousands of fans and striking up a romance with Strictly Come Dancing star Gethin Jones.
A spokeswoman for Hamptons International, the agent marketing the property, told the South Wales Argus that Katherine was not one of the people interested in the property.
