Pete Doherty has been evicted from his house in Wiltshire after the landlord found the walls covered in blood.

The Babyshambles frontman is currently in prison for drug offences but will find himself without a home when he is released.

His landlord paid a surprise visit to Doherty''s nine-bedroom mansion and was so horrified by the blood on the walls that he has evicted the singer.

The star also left nine cats in the house and they have reportedly left it smelling rather foul.

"Pete is homeless, broke and owes thousands to dealers. He destroyed the place by scribbling on the walls, the floor, anywhere he felt like it," a source told the Mirror.

"The beautiful heavy curtains were ripped down and the cats are just running around abandoned. It''s a really pathetic state of affairs..

"No one in their right mind is going to rent him a property after what he did," added the source.
